The Dudes are back with two fun new projects to make your burn a more exciting one. This year we’re transforming our cart into an ice-cream cart & we’re bringing some awesome conversation chairs to learn about skills: Skillboratory. We’ve got support from Afrikaburn with an art grant but we still need more support to be able to finalize our wild ideas.
Was that ’23 cart (Dude, Where’s My Cart!) ever even found in the first place? Who will tell, but rumor has it some Continuum Transfunctioner turned them into ICE and if you’re clever enough to find them, you will be in for a COLD treat. You know it was better next year anyway.
Come play at the Skillboratory Library where knowledge and talent is exchanged. Take a seat and become part of the chain of knowledge. What link will you become to the person sitting next to you? A place to connect, share and learntogether. This craftswap location becomes the playground of the participants.
Since coming up with these ideas and now, our collective grew and with that our ambition to make the cart bigger than initially sketched as below. We’re using the raised money to pay for material costs, logistics (trailer hire) & to get more popsicles out there. With bigger ambitions come higher costs so we’re really hoping to raise a bit more! 5% of our raised funds will be donated to Intle Art in Hout Bay to keep spreading the good influence to the wider world.
