Birthday Suits are run by a group of friends that has been part of this camp for 4 years. Birthday Suits is a naturist camp and give participants the opportunity to share the wonderful world of naturism- a way of life in harmony with nature characterized by the practice of communal nudity with the intention of encouraging self-respect, respect for others and the environment. We create a safe environment for individuals to obtain knowledge of, or first-hand experience in, the naturist environment. The Power Shower is our gift- We run a naked human car wash. No funny business, we give you a good and thorough washing. Everyone loves getting out the shower feeling clean and refreshed. And gifting or receiving a wash is a beautiful and respectful experience. Participants in the Power Shower enjoy a naturist experience by queuing naked for the Power Shower and receiving a warm, soapy wash is wonderful. We gift cold orange juice during shower hour Birthday Suits would like to open our space in the afternoon and evening for others to share their poetry, storytelling or art workshops

Camp DelicioZA is an off-shoot of the Burning Man theme camp, Camp Delicioso. We’re a community with big hearts who flip ‘pancrêpes’ (pancakes/ ‘pannekoeke’) daily from 9am to 12-ish (or until the batter runs out!) during AfrikaBurn.  We’re a jovial, inclusive and welcoming bunch of international burners (returning and new), who love nothing better than a random natter, a cheeky tequila shot (or something else) or three (!) and having loads of fun. From sunset to sunrise, we keep our campfires burning and we offer a welcoming safe space for wandering souls. We love that our camp each year develop its own nuance of the continuing ethos of Camp DelicioZA. The only things we very serious about is the AfrikaBurn principles, our camp’s principles and our camp gifting; we care about each other and our fellow burners. We’re a bunch of participators: we participate as a camp in greeter Shifts (at Die Hek), welcoming burners, new and returning to the AfrikaBurn and we love nothing better than the full emersion experience that AB offers.

The Vagabonds is a growing international collective of burners who have organised theme camps at AfrikaBurn since 2019 and Borderland since 2022. In the default world, we are a diverse group of travelers, entrepreneurs, nomads, free spirits, creatives, and dreamers. Initially inspired by the aesthetics of Swedish artist Simon Stålenhag and his Vagabond robots, this once Nordic-centric community has since grown to over 200 members who come to meet from all corners of the world to connect, co-create, and co-live. We gather in the dust and dirt to celebrate life beyond the edges of civilization; to recharge our batteries, sweat out our inner demons, and dance like the universe is watching.
