AfrikaBurn 2024: 29 April to 5 May

We are all made of stars

This year’s AfrikaBurn poster artwork is by the talented artist Stanislaw Trzebinski. Working with the theme of SPACE, as in much of his work, Stanislaw has played with the idea of an alchemical interweaving of the very substance that is at the heart of the earth or more mystically, of the cosmos. This is further justified considering the original brass plate on which the artwork was etched, the scene appears to emerge out of a kind of interaction of the basic chemistry that define matter.

Stanislaw, has just released a limited edition, signed art print of this year’s poster, all the proceeds of which will go to cover the costs of the huge brass plate that the artwork was made from … as well as fund our own art-reach projects where your donations pay for learners in the Tankwa Karoo to attend secondary school in Calvinia. The prints are archive quality and gorgeously printed on Hahnemühle photo rag ultra smooth paper which makes the colours from the brass etching really pop a bit more than on the litho poster prints.

This is a great opportunity to own a unique piece of AfrikaBurn art while doing good … which is what AfrikaBurn is all about.

There are two print sizes available:

Large, 1400 mm x 1000 mm, Limited edition of 10 prints (3 Artist proofs)
Available for ZAR 15 000 (excl VAT)

Medium, 1000 mm x 700 mm, Limited edition of 20 prints (2 Artist proofs)
