You’ll soon find out! The ‘Olfaction’ is a brand new sensory artwork that is launching into AfrikaBurn this year. We don’t want to give away all their plans, but the Olfaction plans to be a Tankwa Town artwork sensory experience like no other.
Olfaction is running two fundraising events in South Africa in the coming weeks, with support from their friends at Radio Free Tankwa. We’re inviting all Burners to join them and have a skop and a dop to help them raise the last bit of cash to get their artwork finished and transported to Tankwa Town.
There will be top tunes, sensory surprises, incense giveaways and possibly some catering vodka shots from the RFT Caravan fuel supplies.
Cape Town: 10 March at The Electric – 48 Canterbury St, District Six, 7925, from 18:00
Johannesburg: 24 March at Smoking Kills Bar – 78a, 4th Ave, Melville, 2092, from 17:00
Tickets for both events are R80 at the door, with all the ticket proceeds going to project costs. We’ll also have a sensory tip jar if you’re overcome by the smell of money and are feeling super generous.
