AfrikaBurn 2023: 24 to 30 April

Become a creature on board SpaceArk 2bye2

“all creatures great and small, from Noah to Elon and everything in between”

SpaceArk 2bye2 is an 18m high steel and timber rocket that will be built at Afrikaburn 2023. This artwork pays tribute to the history of SPACE from the beginning of time.

“We are reaching out to all creatures to come aboard and be part of the rocket. The external skin of the rocket will be clad in recycled CD’s that will hang from the structure and glisten and shimmer in the desert sun and moonlight. By naming yourself as whatever creature you wish to be and donating R150 per CD we will dedicate one of the many CD’s to you for all to see.

Funds will be used to pay for the materials/equipment needed to create this piece of Space Art. We have received an Art grant for this project which will currently cover 1/3 of our anticipated spend required for the full build of the rocket structure.”

Join Rocketman Willy and his crew on this adventure. Go to their Instagram page SpaceArk_ 2bye2 for more information.

  2. Are you accepting donations of CD’s? Cause 18metres is no small feat for this awesomeness.

Aren't Pop-up Messages Annoying?

Not as annoying as Viagogo and the other ticket tout companies that want to steal your hard-earned money.

If you're looking to buy AfrikaBurn tickets, please do not purchase from any website other than our Quicket Page.
