Introducing ‘The Crossing’, an AfrikaBurn art installation created by Nathan V Honey and you.
Nathan has been closely involved with the creative culture of AfrikaBurn for almost two decades, designing structures that exist in dialogue with the forces around them. Wind, colour, light, and landscape. His latest project, The Crossing, continues this exploration.
The team is currently raising funds to complete The Crossing and bring it to Tankwa Town.
Supporters can contribute to the build through direct donations via SnapScan or EFT, with a selection of project memorabilia offered as a thank-you.
With your contribution, The Crossing will continue this journey.
WHAT THE CROSSING NEEDS
Every contribution goes directly into building the sculpture.
Every R1000 donated helps secure one of the following:
• an 8-ton truck travelling 29 km
• 109 planks of wood
• 21.5 litres of enviro-friendly paint
• 1279 large screws
• 2778 small screws
• keeping the crew alive to work another day
After our initial fundraising, including a generous contribution from AfrikaBurn, we still need to raise R145 370 to fully complete the project.
