ACTIVATE Your Burn!

Where are our activists? Let’s get going on participating in the Participation, Gifting and Consent culture of the burn with Sanctuary! These principles fit Sanctuary to a tee!

We work and play together – we participate in the tough times and the elation by working a shift system to allow for playtime too. That is where the magic is. Being a part of That Thing In The Desert! The gift of our time staffs Sanctuary, as a space that is open 24/7 during the event. Consent is through offering a safe space – for volunteers and guests.

Our Zen Spacekeepers work with Harbour Masters and Tangles to ensure that the space is just how it needs to be. We read the room, respect personal space, support each guest and ourselves with compassion. Our Door Keepers tend the fire outside and ensure that our space is quiet and respectful.

You Smiling Activists have got this already! Take a look at the volunteer participation page to join us, or email [email protected]
