AfrikaBurn 2023: 24 to 30 April

Member & Director Nominations

It’s that time of year again – when we’re regrouping to kick start our annual cycle – and an important part of that process is the nomination of Members and Directors to our organisation.
If you or someone you know would like to be nominated to the role of a Member or a Director, first check out the information on this page, which details how AfrikaBurn is managed, and what the role of Members and Directors are.
In order for a nomination to be submitted, it must be accompanied by a letter of motivation from the person being put forward, as well as a letter of endorsement from someone in our community – and this can be from anyone, but it provides context if this is from a past (or present) Member or Director, or anyone who has been involved in AfrikaBurn in the past (or present), as part of the operations team, as a portfolio volunteer or as part of a creative crew.
They’ll need to send a letter of motivation and their CV to [email protected]
The Member’s Secretary will then mail the interview questions through to the person being nominated.
Nomination applications for the 2016 round will need to be completed and received by 23h59 on Thursday 1 September 2016. Thereafter, at our AGM on October 29th 2016, those nominated are eligible to be voted in as Members and Directors.
To see a list of past Members and Directors, see this page.

Aren't Pop-up Messages Annoying?

Not as annoying as Viagogo and the other ticket tout companies that want to steal your hard-earned money.

If you're looking to buy AfrikaBurn tickets, please do not purchase from any website other than our Quicket Page.
